DCC Autism Self-Assessment Framework (SAF) introduction
Paul Collinge introduced DCC Autism Self-Assessment Framework (SAF) to the group, explaining how the AIG group can contribute to this. This is the 5th SAF, it is generally circulated every two years.
The results are published nationally in the public domain, so anyone can see them, and as DCC is lead agency for the SAF, findings will also influence the refreshing of the Joint Autism Strategy during 2019.
The group split into three smaller groups to discuss the SAF. During the discussion lived experiences were added as comments to explain the answers. Comments will go to the Autism Partnership Board.
Dimensions for Autism(DFA) update
DFA held their first Dimensions for Autism Trainers session in August. Thanked all who attended and their feedback, the feedback will be used to develop the service.
