The focus is on decarbonisation, future fuels, electrification and other technologies that support the sector\u2019s transition to cleaner operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Solutions must address at least one of the following challenges:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Challenge 1: Optimisation of sea-going fleet operations\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Challenge 2: Scope 3 emissions tracking and reporting\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Challenge 3: Efficient use of excess clean energy\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Challenge 4: Decarbonising shipyard manufacturing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Up to six companies with solutions at Technology Readiness Level 5 to 8 will receive tailored commercial support and will have the opportunity to apply for up to \u00a330,000 to deliver a four-month trial of their solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme runs from September 2026 to March 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UK-registered SMEs and micro businesses can apply.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Clean Transport Accelerator: Maritime is a six-month programme supporting SMEs developing innovative solutions for the maritime sector.
