{"id":5702,"date":"2026-06-16T11:13:31","date_gmt":"2026-06-16T10:13:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/fundingnews\/?post_type=tb_fund&#038;p=5702"},"modified":"2026-06-16T11:13:34","modified_gmt":"2026-06-16T10:13:34","slug":"green-heat-network-fund-3","status":"publish","type":"tb_fund","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/fundingnews\/fund\/green-heat-network-fund-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Green Heat Network Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heat networks supply heat to buildings from a central source, avoiding the need for households and workplaces to have individual, energy-intensive heating solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Green Heat Network Fund, originally launched in 2022, is now in Round 12 and provides capital grants to support organisations in the public, private, and third sectors to develop new and existing low and zero-carbon heat networks. The fund therefore supports:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the commercialisation and construction of new low-carbon heat networks (including the supply of cooling)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the retrofitting and expansion of existing heat networks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications will only be supported if they include low-carbon heat-generating technologies, such as heat pumps, waste heat and energy from geothermal sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Types of applicants may include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Public sector organisations including NHS Trusts and Other Government Departments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Private sector organisations that are registered companies and submit annual accounts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Third sector organisations such as registered charities, community investment companies and other such organisations that are officially registered and submit annual accounts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The GHNF will support up to 50% of a project\u2019s total combined commercialisation and construction costs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Heat networks supply heat to buildings from a central source, avoiding the need for households and workplaces to have individual, energy-intensive heating solutions.
