The funding is part of the Landfill Communities Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grants are available for projects that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>protect and enhance biodiversity and natural habitats<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>inspire the creation of a sustainable carbon neutral space<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promote community action and wellbeing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>are inclusive and accessible to everyone and anyone to use<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Projects should relate to a single site such as a woodland, nature reserve or waterway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications can be made by charitable not-for-profit organisations, Environmental Bodies (EBs) registered with Entrust, and local authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grants are made for amounts between \u00a310,000 and \u00a375,000; registered charities, EBs and local authorities can request a grant of over \u00a375,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further eligibility criteria apply including the requirement for a Contributing Third Party payment of 10% of the grant amount.
