Charities working to improve the lives of people in need can apply to the B&Q Foundation for a grant of up to \u00a310,000 to make homes safe, welcoming and comfortable. The grants are for essential home improvements and home-starter kits to help individuals and families facing homelessness, domestic abuse, disabilities, illness, or financial hardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The funding is for projects that directly improve home environments and is available to registered charities that are providing accommodation or supporting people moving into their own homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Applications can be made to one of the following programmes (not both):<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Home Improvement Fund<\/strong> \u2013 grants up to \u00a310,000 for charities to support people with essential home improvements to accommodation or gardens connected to accommodation<\/p>\n\n\n\n Home-Starter Kits Fund<\/strong> \u2013 grants up to \u00a310,000 for charities to provide home-starter packs to help people set up their new home.
