The Climate Action Fund (Food Systems) is for projects that strengthen our food system and reduce food insecurity for people and communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grants of between \u00a32.5m and \u00a37m are available for large-scale, partnership projects that make a lasting impact on climate change, the environment and nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Projects need to work towards systems change so that they achieve at least one of the following aims:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>community organisations grow and produce food \u2013 using agroecological methods\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>food gets distributed \u2013 aiming for equitable access to healthy, affordable food for all\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>people and communities have different food options \u2013 especially those experiencing poverty, disadvantage or discrimination \u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You must apply as part of a partnership. All organisations in the partnership must be a registered charity, company limited by guarantee, CIC, CIO, CBS, co-operative society, public body or school\/college\/university. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tnlcommunityfund.org.uk\/funding\/funding-programmes\/climate-action-fund-food-systems\/join-our-webinar\" rel=\"noopener\">A webinar will be held on 17 February 2026<\/a> to provide more information about the new programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Lottery Community Fund (NLCF) has launched a new fund to support the production and consumption of healthy, affordable food.
