The trust provides funding to charitable organisations undertaking projects to provide housing for those in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funding from the Quaker Housing Trust can take the form of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Main Grants and Loans &#8211; grants and interest-free loans for the capital costs of new housing provision including purchasing property, building costs and refurbishment and renovation costs. Grants up to \u00a320,000 for projects benefitting people with no recourse to public funds; loans up to \u00a330,000 for projects generating income from their tenants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Best practice grants of up to \u00a36,000 for feasibility studies to test specific proposals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>QHT is looking to fund projects which meet a real housing need and where QHT funding makes a real difference. In addition to the priority geographical areas for 2026, the trust is also prioritising organisations working with people with no recourse to public funds and work with minoritised communities and people leaving prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications will be considered from organisations with legal charitable status, operating in Britain with an annual turnover of up to \u00a31 million.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Projects in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset are being prioritised by the Quaker Housing Trust (QHT) throughout 2026.
