{"id":5298,"date":"2025-11-18T16:27:45","date_gmt":"2025-11-18T16:27:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/fundingnews\/?post_type=tb_fund&#038;p=5298"},"modified":"2025-11-18T16:27:48","modified_gmt":"2025-11-18T16:27:48","slug":"veterans-foundation","status":"publish","type":"tb_fund","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/fundingnews\/fund\/veterans-foundation\/","title":{"rendered":"Veterans&#8217; Foundation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Veterans\u2019 Foundation provides grants to charities and not-for-profit organisations that provide assistance to serving and former members of the armed forces community, operational qualified seafarers and their immediate families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are separate grant schemes, as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Small Grants \u2013 grants of \u00a3500 to \u00a35,000 to help small, grassroots groups to flourish in the Armed Forces community and to deliver impactful community-based activities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Standard Grants \u2013 grants of up to \u00a330,000 for organisations providing direct services to support the Armed Forces community<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Salary Grants &#8211; grants of up to a maximum of \u00a375,000 are available for the exclusive use of salary costs over a three-year period, with the maximum annual grant being \u00a325,000 for organisations providing direct services to support the Armed Forces community<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Major Grants \u2013 currently closed<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The funding can be used for projects covering a range of aspects of social care for the armed forces community, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>reducing homelessness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>increasing employment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>tackling financial disadvantage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>disability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>providing welfare and medical support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>mental health<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>support for families and children<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>assistance during old age<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Veterans\u2019 Foundation provides grants to charities and not-for-profit organisations that provide assistance to serving and former members of the armed forces community, operational qualified seafarers and their immediate families.
