The foundation will focus on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Getting started \u2013 supporting families to give their young children a strong start<\/li>\n<li>Building independence \u2013 helping young people aged 14 -25 to move into adulthood with confidence, skills and hope<\/li>\n<li>Safer futures \u2013 supporting people to rebuild their lives after abuse, displacement or prison<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The first funds to be launched under these themes will be as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Together We Begin<\/strong> \u2013 funding for organisations that strengthen parenting by providing in-home, face-to-face support for families with young children.<br \/>\nSign up for the <a href=\"https:\/\/events.teams.microsoft.com\/event\/5ec15e19-205e-4f00-ae2e-f216dc6b6c7d@8b63492b-8ac3-46f9-bc35-f7b7ceb0c214\" rel=\"noopener\">live webinar on 30 July<\/a> to find out more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shout!<\/strong> \u2013 funding for advocacy services helping care-experienced, LGBT+, neurodivergent or learning-disabled young people to speak up, make informed choices and secure their rights.<br \/>\nSign up for the <a href=\"https:\/\/events.teams.microsoft.com\/event\/909db406-8dc7-4197-941d-6405eba0bfda@8b63492b-8ac3-46f9-bc35-f7b7ceb0c214\" rel=\"noopener\">live webinar on 22 July<\/a> to find out more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Domestic Abuse Fund<\/strong> \u2013 funding for \u2018led by and for\u2019 organisations providing specialist domestic abuse services.<br \/>\nSign up for the <a href=\"https:\/\/events.teams.microsoft.com\/event\/df2d9802-a7a6-4675-8e43-8e74a6afaf6b@8b63492b-8ac3-46f9-bc35-f7b7ceb0c214\" rel=\"noopener\">live webinar on 12 August<\/a> to find out more.<\/p>\n<p>The Henry Smith Foundation also continues to provide funding under existing programmes, including:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Holiday Grants<\/strong><br \/>\nSchools, youth groups and not-for-profit organisations can also apply to the Henry Smith Foundation for a grant of up to \u00a32,750 towards the costs of recreational trips for disadvantaged children.
