Schools can apply for between \u00a31,000 and \u00a35,000 for books for their school, with a specific focus on reading for pleasure.<\/p>\n
The LoveReading4Kids Funding for Schools Scheme accepts applications from state-funded schools in the UK.\u00a0 Primaries, secondaries and early years\u2019 settings are all eligible to apply. Priority will be given to schools with income deprivation or cultural deprivation and for improving literacy levels.<\/p>\n
This funding is just for initiatives where the focus is on reading for pleasure. You cannot apply for funding for textbooks or curriculum books.<\/p>\n
