The funding is for projects that will make a difference to people\u2019s lives. Grants from the foundation fall into the following categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical and social care<\/li>\n<li>People with disabilities and the elderly<\/li>\n<li>Homelessness<\/li>\n<li>Children and young people<\/li>\n<li>Church and community<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Grants can be up to \u00a310,000 but most grants are in the range of \u00a31,000 to \u00a35,000. Preference is given to appeals where the\u00a0Green Hall Foundation\u00a0can meet a significant proportion of the funding required and for equipment or other capital costs rather than for salaries and running costs.<\/p>\n<p>The foundation opens its next application round on 2<sup>nd<\/sup> September 2024 and will consider the first 150 applications that it receives, after which the round will close.
