The Leathersellers\u2019 Foundation provides grants for charities in the UK through its Main Grants and Small Grants programmes.<\/p>\n
Main Grants<\/strong> – these grants are targeted to help prevent and tackle the consequences of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). The foundation uses the term ACEs to include traumatic events that have an adverse impact on a young person\u2019s life including abuse, neglect, domestic abuse and issues affecting close family members such as serving time in prison, mental illness and substance misuse.<\/p>\n Registered charities and CIOs with an annual income of between \u00a3200,000 and \u00a32m can apply for up to four years funding of \u00a320,000 to \u00a325,000 a year. This is for charities whose core focus is on preventing the occurrence of and\/or support recovery from ACEs by providing services to children and young people and\/or adult survivors in recovery.<\/p>\n Small Grants<\/strong> – this is a rolling funding programme for one-off grants of up to \u00a35,000 for organisations making a difference in people\u2019s lives.
