{"id":1562,"date":"2019-11-20T15:11:59","date_gmt":"2019-11-20T15:11:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/fundingnews-new\/?post_type=tb_fund&#038;p=1562"},"modified":"2022-04-12T16:51:29","modified_gmt":"2022-04-12T15:51:29","slug":"woodward-charitable-trust","status":"publish","type":"tb_fund","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/fundingnews\/fund\/woodward-charitable-trust\/","title":{"rendered":"Woodward Charitable Trust"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Woodward Charitable Trust makes grants to support the core costs of small charities.<\/p>\n<p>The Trustees will consider applications for core costs which will achieve a positive impact in at least one of the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Arts outreach work by local groups involving disadvantaged people<\/li>\n<li>Children and young people who are isolated, at risk of exclusion or involved in anti-social behaviour<\/li>\n<li>Disability projects, including rehabilitation and training for people with learning or physical disabilities and charities supporting mental health issues<\/li>\n<li>Disadvantaged women and their children, covering refuges and domestic violence shelters and groups<\/li>\n<li>Disadvantaged families including parenting support<\/li>\n<li>Prisoners and ex-offenders and specifically projects that help the rehabilitation and resettlement of prisoners and\/or ex-offenders and support for prisoners\u2019 families<\/li>\n<li>Projects that promote integration and community cohesion particularly amongst minority groups, refugees and traveller communities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The majority of grants are for under \u00a33,000 (usually around 100 grants per year).
