Fund title: Thriving Communities Fund
Focus of fund/fund aims:
Grants for partnership projects that enhance collaboration and networking between local organisations and strengthen the range of social prescribing activities offered locally
8 January 2021
Voluntary organisations and social enterprises can apply for grants for projects that help to connect people to more creative community activities and services. The aim is to increase the role of ‘social prescribing’ as a way of helping people to cope with the impact of COVID-19.
The focus of the Thriving Communities Fund is to support the communities most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, including black, Asian and ethnically-diverse communities.
Partnerships of charities, Community Interest Companies, co-operative societies and Community Benefit Societies can apply for these grants. The partnership should cover a range of different sectors and must include at least one partner organisation from the arts sector.
Grants will be between £25,000 and £50,000 and partnerships will need to provide 20% match funding.
