Fund description:
The Self Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) allows people who are self employed to claim a grant to make up for a loss of profits as a result of coronavirus.
The scheme has so far offered grants in three instalments to self-employed people and this is the fourth grant, covering February to April 2021.
The fourth grant will be set at 80% of 3 months’ average trading profits, paid out in a single instalment, capped at £7,500. Eligibility for the scheme will now be based on your tax return for 2019 to 2020 and will also be open to those who became self-employed in tax year 2019 to 2020. The rest of the eligibility criteria remain unchanged.
There will be a fifth and final SEISS grant covering May to September 2021.
