PropTech Engagement Fund – Round 2

Local Planning Authorities (LPAs) can apply for grants to support the development of digital tools to encourage more people to engage with the local planning process. The PropTech Engagement Fund supports the widespread adoption of digital citizen engagement tools and services.

Selected projects will aim to demonstrate how digital citizen engagement can:

  • incentivise communities to positively engage in planning conversations
  • engage a more representative range of citizens in decision-making
  • inform communities about trade-offs and outcomes through development

Local Planning Authorities can apply to deliver a digital engagement project that addresses one of the following themes:

  • Theme 1: Master-planning
  • Theme 2: Council-Led Development
  • Theme 3: Estate Regeneration
  • Theme 4: Community Development
  • Theme 5: Wildcard

Individual LPAs can apply for up to £125,000 of funding, while joint LPA projects can apply for up to £300,000 of funding.
