Fund title: Making the Connection
Focus of fund/fund aims:
Small grants for projects in Devon that bring people together, enrich and strengthen communities and improve wellbeing
31 January 2020
Making the Connection is a new fund providing small, one-off grants of up to £300 to support community-led ideas and initiatives across the area of Devon administered by Devon County Council. No match funding is required.
The fund will support community-led schemes, benefitting one or more community groups which bring people together to identify and/or achieve relatively quickly the small but important things that matter to them. The aim is to encourage and enable communities to be stronger – more independent, responsive and resourceful – as well as being more connected, kinder and safer.
Making the Connection grants can be used for a range of imaginative ideas or initiatives where a small amount of funding, not available elsewhere, can make a difference to people’s lives in communities in Devon.
Applications are accepted from constituted voluntary and community groups and organisations, social enterprises, Town and Parish Councils, charities or not-for-private-profit businesses, or a combination of such groups working together.
