Fund title: LGA Housing Advisers Programme 2020/21
Focus of fund/fund aims:
Grants for local authorities to commission expert advice to help them deliver a project that helps meet the housing need of their local area
7 January 2021
The Local Government Association (LGA) Housing Advisers Programme is designed to support local authorities to deliver a project that helps meet the housing need of their local area.
Grants are available towards the costs of using independent housing experts to provide advice to local authorities. The advice should relate to a specific project that aims to deliver homes, reduce homelessness, or generate savings or revenues.
This year, the programme will prioritise strategic housing projects that will support councils and their communities to address COVID-19 and its wider impacts.
The programme will award up to £20,000 to each project for the purpose of securing expert advice in transforming how a service or partnership meets the housing need of communities.
The programme is open to local authorities at all levels, either individually or as a partnership.
