Fund description:

The International Tree Foundation is now accepting applications for grants towards community tree planting projects in the UK.

Grants up to £6,000 are available to community-led initiatives that will conserve, restore and protect indigenous trees and woodlands, forests, habitats and associated biodiversity. Projects should also support community engagement in tree planting and encourage social cohesion and inclusion.

Each project must plant native UK species on land that is accessible to the general public. There needs to be a minimum of 50 trees planted per £1,000 of grant funding.

Community-based organisations such as schools, community groups or non-governmental organisations can apply.
