Fund title: Industrial Heat Recovery Support Programme
Focus of fund/fund aims:
Funding for industrial manufacturing companies with significant heating and/or cooling processes to support industrial heat recovery projects.
The programme is expected to run until March 2021
The Industrial Heat Recovery Support (IHRS) Programme is a competitive grant funding programme which aims to:
- increase industry confidence to invest in technologies to recover heat from industrial processes
- increase the deployment of heat recovery technologies by working with industry to address barriers
There is up to £18 million of funding available to support the uptake of industrial heat recovery projects which will be allocated as grants through a competitive process. Of this total funding, up to £6 million will be available to applicants applying for funding for feasibility studies, preliminary engineering and detailed engineering. Up to £12 million will be available to applicants for the capital delivery of projects.
The IHRS programme is open to companies in all industrial manufacturing sectors as set out in the Office of National Statistics (ONS) Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes 10-33. The programme is also open to Data Centres.
