The Health Foundation is launching a new funding programme to strengthen the links between economic development and health.
The programme is being set up to support partnerships to promote health and reduce health inequalities through economic development strategies. Partnerships will be led by a local authority or a statutory regional body and will bring together a range of organisations including an academic and collaboration partner.
The fund is due to launch in November and will support three to four partnerships across the UK with funding of £300,000 to £500,000 for up to three years.
