Registered charities that are targeting community health needs in the UK can apply for a grant to help with their running costs. The new GSK Grow Programme will fund charities with annual income under £120,000 that support the least privileged and diverse communities in the UK.
Up to ten successful charities will receive £10,000 in unrestricted funding from GSK to help with the day-to-day operation of their organisation. They will also receive a leadership programme delivered by The King’s Fund, to support leaders to realise their ambitions for their organisation valued at a further £3,200.
Up to five runners up will receive £1,000 in unrestricted funding.
Applicants will need to demonstrate how they improve the health and wellbeing of their community and show that they reach the people who are most vulnerable or disadvantaged.
