Fund description:

The Culture Recovery Fund for cultural organisations is part of the £1.57 billion rescue package announced by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) to safeguard cultural and heritage organisations across the UK from the economic impact of COVID-19.

The Arts Council is distributing this round of the funding through two strands:

Strand One: Culture Recovery Fund: Emergency Resource Support – for organisations that are in severe need and have not yet received support from the Culture Recovery Fund. Grants of between £25,000 and £3 million (£1m for for-profit organisations) are available to support cultural organisations until the end of the year.

Strand Two: Culture Recovery Fund: Continuity Support – for organisations that are in need and have already received support from the Culture Recovery Fund. Details to be published later in the year.

Cultural organisations, including visual arts, music, literature, theatre, dance, combined arts and museums can apply. Local authorities, universities and other public-sector bodies which run or maintain cultural services can also apply. Note that libraries are not eligible for this fund.
