Competitions for young entrepreneurs

There are regular opportunities for young entrepreneurs to apply for funding and support through business challenges. Most of these offer a cash prize together with expert business support and mentoring. Here are the competitions currently inviting applications:

Solve for Tomorrow: a tech-for-good competition open to all young people aged 16-25. If you have an idea for how you could use tech to benefit society, you can enter the competition to win £10,000 to make your idea a reality, along with support and mentoring.

Young Entrepreneurs Challenge: for fresh and innovative tech-led ideas from 16 to 25 year olds. Apply for a chance to win a £10,000 grant to help accelerate your business idea or start-up.

Rice Business Business Plan Competition: an international graduate-level start-up competition. It is designed to give student entrepreneurs a real-world experience to pitch their start-ups to investors and receive mentoring as well as cash prizes.

Tycoon Enterprise Competition: to encourage entrepreneurial young people aged 6 to 18 to start their own business and make a profit whilst they are still in school or further education.
