The Community Business Renewal Fund provides grants to help community businesses affected by the Covid-19 crisis to adapt, renew and rebuild their business. The fund is aimed at organisations delivering services in their local community to support those who have been most affected by the crisis.
Community businesses can apply for a grant of between £10,000 and £20,000 to help them to adapt to the changing circumstances. The grants could be used to cover core staffing costs, help with the capital costs of adapting buildings or other work to help them continue to provide vital support to local people.
The main priority support areas for the fund include: areas of England facing high levels of deprivation, organisations supporting and led by disabled people and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME)-led or BAME-supporting businesses.
There are three opportunities to apply for this fund: community businesses can submit their application between 10am and 1pm on the published dates.
