The new open-access programme for arts, museums and libraries projects
Application deadline:
Applications can be submitted at any time
Fund description:
The Arts Council England has launched ‘Project Grants’ – a new open-access programme for arts, museums and libraries projects, funded by the National Lottery. The programme replaces a number of previous Arts Council schemes which have now closed.
Project Grants cover music, theatre, dance, visual arts, literature and combined arts (including festivals and carnivals). Libraries and museums can also apply and accredited museums can apply for projects that help people to engage with their work.
Public engagement is at the heart of the new programme and so applicants will need to show how people will be able to experience or get involved with their project and how they will benefit from it. The Arts Council will also be looking for projects that use creative media to produce and deliver their work.
Artists, cultural practitioners and organisations can apply for grants between £1,000 and £100,000.
