Arts Council England: Creative People and Places

Arts Council England (ACE) has announced a new round of funding through its Creative People and Places Programme. This programme is for cultural activity and engagement in specific locations in England, including North Devon, Plymouth and Torbay.

Grants of between £750,000 and £1 million will be available for projects to support the public in shaping local arts and cultural provision. The aim is to increase attendance and participation in excellent art and culture. Activities must be delivered over three years and take place between 1 April 2026 and 31 March 2029.

Applications need to come from consortia that include at least one arts or cultural organisation and one community and/or grassroots organisation.

Funding to engage people in arts and cultural experiences in areas where arts participation is typically low

Application deadline:

Applications for the 2026 - 2029 funding round will open on 12 September 2024 and close on 16 January 2025
