{"id":902,"date":"2016-07-07T11:11:39","date_gmt":"2016-07-07T10:11:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/floodriskmanagement\/?page_id=902"},"modified":"2025-05-27T16:04:41","modified_gmt":"2025-05-27T15:04:41","slug":"asset-register","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/floodriskmanagement\/asset-register\/","title":{"rendered":"Asset register"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Under Section 21 of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legislation.gov.uk\/ukpga\/2010\/29\" rel=\"noopener\">Flood and Water Management Act<\/a>, lead local flood authorities are required to maintain a register and record of all structures and features that are anticipated to have an effect on flood risk in the area.<\/p>\n<p>The record is kept and maintained by DCC and includes detailed information about each of the assets contained within it such as information on ownership and state of repair.<\/p>\n<p>The register contains only basic information about the structures and features deemed to have an impact on flood risk, such as location and type of structure.<\/p>\n<p>The latest update to the asset register can be viewed on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/redirect.devon.gov.uk?link=gzbdhy\" rel=\"noopener\">Flood Risk Map<\/a>.
