Senior employees’ salaries
The Data Transparency Code requires Devon County Council to publish the salary of senior employees whose salary is £50,000 or above (in brackets of £5,000) and to provide details of their job title, grade and key responsibilities. Other information required includes; any interim cover arrangements, vacancies and details of any benefits paid in addition to salary where this is relevant. Please find the senior employees’ salaries report here. CSV files are also available to download.
The figures provided relate to the full-time equivalent salary of a post, and not the actual salary of the current post holder as some employees work part-time. No indication is made for which posts are currently part-time as the information relates to the post and not the post holder.
The Council’s Leadership posts are paid using the Leadership Pay Grades L0 to L9. References to ‘AFC’ pay grades relate to the National Health Service’s Agenda for Change pay bands. References to ‘NJC’ pay grades relate to the National Joint Council pay scales.
A further table summarises the number of employees whose remuneration for the financial year was at least £50,000 in brackets of £5,000.
Details of senior employees on salaries of £150,000 or above can be found in the organisational structure charts.
