Our purpose is to use the power of tech for impact through digital inclusion, education, charitable, and public engagement initiatives across the entire UK.<\/p>\n<p>As an IT charity, all projects they fund must make use of information technology, and must relate to one or more of their priority areas<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education<\/li>\n<li>Inclusion<\/li>\n<li>IT for charities<\/li>\n<li>Public understanding of IT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Projects need to demonstrate an innovative use of IT, be scalable for wider replication, and be sustainable over time.<\/p>\n<p>Projects funded are usually up to \u00a315,000.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wcitcharity.org.uk\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Applications for funding<\/a> may be submitted at any time and are considered at one of four meetings a year.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Emergency Essentials Programme \u2013 BBC Children in Need<\/h2>\n<p>This programme supports children and young people who are facing exceptionally difficult circumstances, and is delivered by Family Fund Business Services.
