This is to help reception teachers carry out the EYFSP assessment with confidence and consistency.<\/p>\n<h2>Best practice sharing<\/h2>\n<p>As part of this support, Foundation Years would like to share some examples of best practice at a headteacher \/ Senior Leadership Team and teacher level.\u00a0Below are examples of what each role might like to share:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Headteachers:<\/strong> how you support the reception teacher to carry out the assessment effectively, such as the steps taken to make sure senior leaders have a good understanding of the EYFSP assessment, any internal moderation and \/ or quality assurance of the data and how you help teachers to use the data to support transitions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Teachers:<\/strong> the process you follow to make EYFSP judgements, including how you have collaborated with internal colleagues and \/ or other schools and how you use the EYFSP data to support transitions.
