{"id":17584,"date":"2025-03-13T10:30:52","date_gmt":"2025-03-13T10:30:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/eycs\/?p=17584"},"modified":"2025-03-13T11:50:07","modified_gmt":"2025-03-13T11:50:07","slug":"call-for-more-enterprise-advisers-to-help-inspire-future-careers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/eycs\/call-for-more-enterprise-advisers-to-help-inspire-future-careers\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for more Enterprise Advisers to help inspire future careers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An appeal has been launched for local business people to volunteer their time to support the \u201cEnterprise Adviser\u201d initiative run by Devon, Plymouth &amp; Torbay Careers Hub.<\/p>\n<p>The Careers Hub currently has around 85 Enterprise Advisers who work closely with over 120 schools and colleges in the area to support their careers programmes.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s now looking to boost numbers with a recruitment drive, calling for more volunteers from local businesses to sign up to the scheme.<\/p>\n<p>Enterprise Advisers are professionals from any business sector or background who volunteer their time to partner with a local secondary school or college to develop and implement a strategic careers plan.
