The Area SENDCo role also includes support for academy and maintained nurseries as well as governor run provision.<\/p>\n<p>EYCs provide:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General inclusion support to setting\/school SENDCo and EYFS practitioners<\/li>\n<li>Specific support for settings\/schools relating to individual children with additional needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>EYCs offer general advice on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing an Ordinarily Available Inclusive Provision<\/li>\n<li>Implementing the graduated response<\/li>\n<li>Becoming a new SENDCo<\/li>\n<li>Safeguarding concerns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For individual children (with parental consent) EYCs can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Give advice regarding target setting and strategies<\/li>\n<li>Observe a session alongside a practitioner in order to identify areas of need and consider ways to support individual children<\/li>\n<li>Offer advice to manage tricky conversations with parents and support liaison with partner agencies<\/li>\n<li>Signpost to services who can support individual children in the setting\/school<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Early Years Consultants:<\/h2>\n<div class=\"table-scroll\"><table style=\"border-collapse: collapse;width: 100%\" border=\"1\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 25%\">Name<\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 25%\">Contact email and mobile<\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 25%\">PVI Setting, School Nursery and FSU Locality Areas<\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 25%\">Nursery Chains<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 25%\">Julie Adams &#8211;
