Thousands of families are one step closer to accessible, affordable and high-quality early years provision in their local area, as the first stage of the government\u2019s plan to deliver 3,000 school-based nurseries begins today (17 October).<\/p>\n

Primary schools can now apply for up to \u00a3150,000\u00a0of \u00a315 million capital funding, with the first stage of the plan set to support up to 300\u00a0new or expanded nurseries\u00a0across England.<\/p>\n
