{"id":15980,"date":"2024-05-02T10:03:30","date_gmt":"2024-05-02T09:03:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/eycs\/?p=15980"},"modified":"2024-05-02T13:55:28","modified_gmt":"2024-05-02T12:55:28","slug":"welcome-to-devons-new-wraparound-programme-lead","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/eycs\/welcome-to-devons-new-wraparound-programme-lead\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome to Devon\u2019s new wraparound programme lead and briefing update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The national wraparound childcare programme is part of the childcare reforms announced at the 2023 Spring Budget.<\/p>\n<p>The government\u2019s ambition is that by 2026, all parents and carers of primary school-aged children who need it will be able to access term time childcare in their local area from 8am-6pm, so that parents can access employment and improve labour market participation.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to extend a warm welcome to Tania Skinner who has been appointed as the Wraparound Programme Lead for Devon.
