Newly funded children for spring term 2023 and EYPP for autumn term 2022
Newly funded children for Spring Term 2023
If you have children attending your setting that will be entitled to the 3- & 4-year-old funding from January (based on date of birth eligibility), please can you add them to your 2-year-old Autumn amendment task.
Please do not record any attendance hours (unless they are eligible for two-year-old funding). These children will automatically show on the 3- & 4-year-old spring headcount task when it is issued in January, so you won’t need to add them again.
Early Years Pupil Premium for Autumn Term 2022
If you are claiming 3 & 4 year old funding for any children on your autumn amendment task, either new to your setting or existing, and you think they may be entitled to EYPP (this may be as a result of them previously being eligible as a 2 year old via another local authority or parents circumstances have changed and they are on benefits due to low household income) please collect the parent/carer details, add to the amendment task and submit the data before Wednesday 21st December 2022. Any child on the 3- & 4-year-old task with a TYF878 reference will routinely be checked and you do not need to collect or add parent details for these children unless your EYPP report issued on 13th October says, ‘No Trace – Check data’.
We will run a check before the Christmas break and if they are eligible, you will receive the EYPP with your Autumn amendment payments at the end of January. If the data isn’t submitted by 21st December and they are deemed eligible from a subsequent EYPP check that is made at the start of January, you will only receive EYPP from spring 2023 onwards.
