‘Let’s Talk More’ and Devon speaks up for SLCN

Let’s Talk More

Let’s Talk More (LTM) has been included as one of 5 good practice case studies with the recent Public Health England (PHE) Best Start in speech and language guidance.

Following a call in Spring 2018 for best practice examples of how an integrated system can work in practice the LTM case study was submitted to PHE. LTM was subject to independent peer review through PHEs Speech, Language and Communication Expert Advisory group prior to publication so it is great to see it featured and is testament to the combined effort by Children’s Centres; Public Health Nursing team; Early Years Providers and Speech & Language Therapy across Devon.

Devon speaks up for SLCN

The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy is concerned how Covid 19 has impacted on people’s access to Speech and Language Therapy and wants to hear about everyone’s experiences (parents/carers/professionals).

We’ve designed a survey to help us understand the issue better and plan to use the results to make the case for more speech and language therapy support.

If you, your loved ones, or the people you work with, care for and support access speech and language therapy services then we encourage you to complete the survey.
