Knitted Currant Buns

Children from Chudleigh Knighton Pre-school met the ‘Knit and Natter’ ladies who had very kindly knitted some currant buns for them to use as props when they sing ‘Five currant buns in a bakers shop’. The children stayed for a snack, sang some songs and then gave the ladies some daffodils to say thank you as it was Saint David’s Day.

The children walked through the village pointing out buildings and places of interest on the way to the group and learnt about their local community whilst celebrating British values and traditions.
