The Skipton Building Society Charitable Foundation

Grants up to £3,000 for UK registered charities working in the areas of child education and welfare, youth projects, and the elderly and their welfare. Grants can be used to fund specific activities of the purchase of equipment, such as Sensory toys and equipment for children with special needs.

The St. James’s Charitable Foundation

The Foundation provides funding for UK registered charities and UK special schools for capital projects or revenue items that benefit young people aged 25 and under who suffer from physical or mental health difficulties or conditions, or a life-threatening degenerative illness, or are disadvantaged. This can include young people under the age of 25 caring for others.

The Foundation’s four central funding themes are:

  • Children and young people with a disability or who are socially or economically disadvantaged
  • Cancer support
  • Hospices
  • Mental Health
