Food and toiletry parcels for families in need in Exeter

St Matt’s C of E Church in Exeter, in consultation with the Exeter Foodbank, is setting up an additional pop-up Foodbank service with a particular focus on helping families in need across Exeter with the postcode EX1, 2, 3 or 4. This could include families in need who do not reach the usual thresholds for accessing Foodbanks but you deem to still be in need. Once established we hope to keep this going for as long as there is a need.

Families can self-refer via our website or alternatively schools /settings can place a larger booking for a number of families which we can deliver to you directly.

We hope to also be able to meet any urgent toiletry needs for families so we ask that you specify what is wanted e.g. nappies, sanitary products, toothpaste etc. so we can endeavour to source them.

In addition we will need to be aware of any specific dietary requirements (health, choice or religious) a family may have so that the bags that are sent are appropriate.

We aim to have the first parcels ready next week for those families most in need but if you could give us some indication of the numbers of families in your school or setting that you think would benefit from this additional support and to share the self-referral link to your parents and carers.

Please visit the website for more information.
