Changes to the virtual ‘coffee-break catch-up’ sessions

As you are aware the Early Years and Childcare Service have been holding monthly virtual ‘coffee-break catch-up’ sessions as a ways of providing support to you whilst in the height of Covid-19. Topics covered at these sessions included updates on the early years funding, vaccinations, mental health awareness, updates on Children Centres (specifically their under 2’s work) and much more.

Whilst feedback indicates that you have found these ‘catch-up’ sessions highly valuable, the last couple of sessions have seen the number of practitioners much reduced. Therefore we have taken the decision to ‘step-down’ these sessions for now, especially as from the Autumn term we will be looking at delivering virtual Provider Network Meetings and other meetings such as the Childminder and Safeguarding Forums.
