The course has been prepared by staff from the local specialist team for autism in collaboration with people who have autism. It aims to provide an awareness and understanding of what autism is, how it is experienced by individuals and by those who support them. The course should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.  Access the course here.

Autism Progression Framework

The Autism Education Trust has released the latest version of its Autism Progression Framework (v2.0). It is FREE to download and offers a comprehensive interactive assessment tool for children and young people on the autism spectrum in both mainstream and specialist early years, school and post-16 settings.

Commissioned by the Department for Education, the evidence-based toolkit is a valuable resource designed to support staff in identifying learning priorities and measuring progress in areas that fall outside the national curriculum.
