Early Years Weekly Attendance Survey

Thank you to all providers for your continuing efforts completing the survey each week. This helps us understand levels of childcare provision throughout Devon and the Department for Education at a national level during this pandemic.

  • 77% of all settings were open in January nationally
  • 41% of children who usually attend childcare in term time attended childcare in January nationally
  • 57% of children who usually attend childcare in term time on a daily basis attended childcare in January nationally

Survey Link Frequency:

A new link to the survey will be sent every Thursday (and again as a reminder on a Tuesday). Once you have submitted your survey you will not be able to use the same link again.

Some providers have found the email in their spam/junk folder so please don’t forget to look there. If you do find the email in your spam/junk folder you may need to move the email to your main inbox for the link to be unblocked by your spam settings.

Un-met requests for childcare:

Please only include children that you cannot provide a place for due to a lack of capacity. If the child would not be able to attend childcare (for example due to isolating or too young) then this should not be classed as an unmet request for a place.
