Attendance Register update
Children that will be starting school at any time in September, and are paying to attend an early years setting until they can start full time or part time in school, should not be included on the attendance register return. All children that are able to start school have been deleted from the system. This will mean that any critical worker or vulnerable children that have deferred or delayed starting school will need to be added back onto the attendance register. If these children need to be added back to the system you should contact firstname.lastname@example.org. If they are neither you should include them in the overall numbers attending.
Please note, the question ‘Number of children registered to attend in a typical week’ should read the ‘Number of children registered to attend today’. We are in the process of updating our Frequently Asked Questions to reflect this change. Please look out for this in the next few days.
