• Preventing Exploitation Toolkit

    The Safer Devon Partnership have developed an online Toolkit to help frontline workers tackle exploitation. The Toolkit arose from concerns raised by Safer Devon Partners that exploitation is often not fully understood, meaning that frontline workers can lack the confidence to identify and report it.   • Meet the new Early Years Representative for the Devon Education Forum

    The Devon Education Forum is an independent committee of representatives from schools, academies and other non-school organisation. The forum acts as a consultative body or a decision making body on education issues that affect young people aged 0 – 19. The new representative for Early Years is Lydia Wright.

  • NSPCC Positive interactions and child development

    The NSPCC has launched its new Look, Say, Sing, Play campaign. The campaign encourages positive interactions between parents and their babies to help with social, emotional and cognitive development.

    Parents may save up to £2000 per child, per year using Tax-Free Childcare – to go towards everything from childminders and nurseries to breakfast/after-school and holiday club charges.
