However, we hope that in most circumstances you will be given a lot more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We recommend that meeting organisers (usually the school\u2019s SENCO) give at least a terms\u2019 notice or around 16 weeks. This allows professionals time to plan their attendance or consider how they can contribute to the review if they can\u2019t attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will also be asked to provide your views ahead of the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who attends<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On the invite, you will be able to see who has currently been invited to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will include representatives from education, health and social care as well as representatives from your child\u2019s school or setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you would like to have others invited who do not appear on the list, please contact the meeting organiser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Next steps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Confirm attendance or speak with the meeting organiser if the date is unsuitable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make the meeting organiser aware of any special requirements such as access to the building.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consider whether there any professionals that the organiser has not invited but should be asked to contribute.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contact <a href=\"https:\/\/devonias.org.uk\/contact-us\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Devon Information support and Advice (DiAS<\/a> if you would like any support in preparing for the meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to contribute your views<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Watch the short video below for more information about using the EHC Hub to contribute your views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Parents Contributing Views to an EHC Review\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/nk87kSTHRtc?feature=oembed&#038;rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sway.office.com\/XERxAJWoQuhZbjxc?ref=Link\" rel=\"noopener\">Step by step guidance to providing your views prior to an EHCP Review Meeting<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Information you will be asked for before the meeting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ahead of the scheduled EHC plan review meeting, the meeting organiser will request you to share your views and the views of your child or young person. They will also ask if you feel that progress is being made towards the outcomes set out in the current EHC plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EHC Hub will prompt you to answer the following questions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Do you feel that progress is being made towards some or all of the outcomes set out in the EHC plan?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What do you feel has been working well?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What do you feel is not working well and you would like to be different?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The answers to these questions will be used in the final report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EHC Hub will also ask for important things to know about your family history.
