Champions for Change is the voice of all children and young people in Devon who need extra help with their learning. The group is run by young people with SEND for young people with SEND.
We held our latest monthly meeting on 28 May. In it, we discussed language that is used with and about young people with SEND – exploring what words we do and don’t like. We then had a presentation from Young Devon, who spoke to us about their Young Leaders group who help make decisions on how health services should run.
We also finalised our plans for the litter-pick which will take place in Tiverton on Saturday 26 June.
