The bar chart shows the type of education setting which is attended by children with an EHCP. These are shown on the chart as a percentage of all children with an EHCP.

The most common setting is a mainstream setting. This is 44% of all children with an EHCP.

The second most common setting is a special school. This is 27% of all children with an EHCP.

The third most common setting is a Further Education College. This is 12% of all children with an EHCP.

The fourth most common is that they are not in education, employment or training. This is 6% of all children with an EHCP.

All other settings, including independent schools, make up the remaining 11%.
