Each workshop will have a focus most relevant to the respective district and will be selected based on feedback from the farming community alongside research and consultation which was conducted to establish the needs of farmers in terms of agri-tech and innovation, where there were gaps in business support or knowledge exchange and specific challenges and opportunities identified within the sector. The topics covered in our events programme include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diversification;<\/li>\n<li>Routes to market;<\/li>\n<li>Sustainable practices;<\/li>\n<li>Conservation;<\/li>\n<li>and Energy Saving.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each workshop will take on its own unique form, however, we will be hearing directly from:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Farmers about their lived experience;<\/li>\n<li>Researchers with academic and ground trooped data;<\/li>\n<li>Current and future funding opportunities;<\/li>\n<li>Innovative case studies;<\/li>\n<li>Programmes of support and peer to peer networking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These workshops will be interactive, create a space for open discussion and be action focused, ensuring attendees depart with useful resources and contacts. Devon is a two-tier structure, with a County Council as well as 8 district councils.
