This competitive scheme was designed to help Devon\u2019s schools create or expand opportunities for enterprise education and the formation of strong links with businesses. The grant was awarded to innovative proposals that could demonstrate benefits for both pupils and staff, and collaborative multi-school bids, as well as single school applications, were welcome.<\/p>\n<p>The evaluation reports produced at the end\u00a0of the programme\u00a0are available below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/economy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/68\/2014\/10\/Evaluation-of-the-Enterprise-in-Schools-Grant-Final-Report-September-2015.pdf\">Read the Enterprise in Schools Grant 2014-2015 report here<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/devoncc.sharepoint.com\/sites\/PublicDocs\/Economy\/_layouts\/15\/guestaccess.aspx?docid=056ffbf98385c4c1c97a278d99e9f8b63&amp;authkey=AUdsyLqN7ebSRkCesYwfJ3Q\" rel=\"noopener\">Read the Enterprise in Schools Grant 2015-2016 report here<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Enterprise Adviser Service<\/h3>\n<p>The Enterprise Adviser Network is designed to encourage links between schools and business. The aim is to encourage business leaders to work together with schools to support and motivate young people in making choices about their future career.<\/p>\n<p>The project, which is delivered by\u00a0CSW Group,\u00a0will provide better information to schools about skills needs, so that existing career-focused activities can be enhanced and developed.<\/p>\n<p>Initially the project supported 36 schools across the Heart of the South West area. The schools are selected according to a number of criteria, including exam results, the number of pupils receiving free school meals and the numbers of school leavers not in education, employment or training (NEETS). This year will see 64 schools in the Heart of the South West area benefiting from the programme.<\/p>\n<h3>Links<\/h3>\n<p>Details of enterprise education services and advice can be found using the links below.
